This year's Empty Homes Week, publicised by the charity Action on Empty Homes, will run from the 23rd to the 29th September, 2019.
The charity's website is encouraging all local authorities, housing providers and community-led projects to get involved, stating:
"Every year local authorities, housing providers, community-led organisations and others see Empty Homes Week as an opportunity to organise events and put out information so that people know about their work to tackle empty homes. Empty Homes Week is also the chance to celebrate successes and reflect on what more needs to be done to bring empty properties back into use to help meet housing needs."
To coincide with Empty Homes Week, The Empty Homes Network will holding its National Empty Homes Conference on the 25th September, 2019 in Birmingham, with information on the Conference, speakers, sponsorship opportunities and booking procedures to follow shortly.
