Warning: possible outbreak of sanity regarding London buy-to-leave phenomenon

This is a Guardian blog post about Sadiq Khan's invitation for research into oversease investment in London property. We do not currently plan to introduce a tag for "overseas investors" because the whole discussion is tainted with xenophobia. This is probably the least important empty homes issue facing the UK and the prominence given to it in the media reflects not only xenophobia but also an unhealthy London-centric view of life.
