A valuable source of key data allowing tunnelling down to the individual local authority level n some cases.
Figure 2.1 shows, inter alia, numbers of second homes and LTEs and allows comparison between an LA figure and the correspondng figures for England and the region (as Frank Zappa said about jazz, 'Regions are not dead, they just smell funny'). It also shows 'hidden families' (from the 2011 census).
