The Empty Homes Network are excited to share details of three FREE to attend events coming up over the course of the next few months, with a Webinar and two in-person classroom sessions suitable for empty homes officers of all capabilities and experience.

Wednesday 17th May - Webinar hosted by Finders International

Explore potential solutions to the housing crisis in the upcoming Empty Homes webinar hosted by Finders International. This complimentary online session is designed explicitly for Empty Home Officers and property professionals across the UK. Catrin Evans, Head of Development at The Community Impact Initiative (C.I.I.), will explain the organisation's goal to rejuvenate vacant properties. You’ll be able to gain insights into how these initiatives empower local communities, provide avenues for skill development, facilitate qualification acquisition, enhance well-being, and foster pathways to employment.

Tuesday 4th June - Empty Properties Training and Networking Day: Hosted by Estate Research | London

This will be a fully informative training and networking session in relation to Empty Property Solutions and practices undertaken by local authorities. This will include presentations from experts in the field and an open forum for colleagues to share their knowledge and ideas on best practice.

Thursday 27th June - FREE Training Day: Hosted by Finders International | London

Finders International is excited to be hosting a Training Day with the Policy Lead of the Empty Homes Network, Adam Cliff. Taking place at Friend House in London, the event is for Empty Homes Officers and those working in empty properties. During the day, we will be covering:

  • Statistics: Making the case for increased resource

  • Developing a Database: Managing and Maintaining your Caseload

  • Reactive to Proactive: Working toward a wholly proactive approach

  • Question & Answer session
