EHN revised response to EDMO proposals

We have now produced a substantially revised response to the CLG proposals to change the EDMO legislation. The revised response reflects further information given to us by CLG about the shape of the proposed amendments to the EDMO legislation, which are less prescriptive than previously expected. They focus more on the local response to the nuisance empty home and to the council's proposals The latest version of our response can be found here. The consultation exercise has now been extended by 4 weeks to 11th February 2011. As before, comments can be submitted by members in the EDMO forum.
