Empty Property Practitioner of the Year Award 2010 - Nominations Received

We've received four nominations for the Empty Property Practitioner of the Year Award 2010, sponsored by Ad Hoc Property Management Ltd. . The four are: Graham Everett (Watford Borough Council) Extract: "A thorough and extremely knowledgeable approach to his work, exploring every option available and persevering through thick and thin." Steve Habgood, (LB of Bromley): Extract: "Steve proceeded with patience and determination when faced with the adversity that would put many practitioners off....This is the type of empty property work that deserves endorsement - bold, brave, committed, successful." Darryl Lawrence (Rochdale Housing Initiative) Extract: "He has been outstanding in developing innovative approaches to the problems of empty homes and building unique relationships, which has included major financial establishments as well as corporate property owners." Zainul Pirmohamed (Stoke-on-Trent City Council) Extract: "She and her team work tirelessly to bring properties back into use;....She will look into all avenues to get properties back into use, using whatever powers she has at her disposal....an extremely professional and helpful person."
