Nicola Suckely, Exeter City Council and EHN TreasurerThe Empty Homes Network has a new Treasurer following Sue Haigh's decision to step down from the role after a re-organisation at Exeter City Council. Nicola Suckley, pictured left, is currently Empty Homes Officer at Exeter. She kindly offered to step into the breach and has been co-opted onto the Executive and also into the Treasurer Role. She'll stand for election at next year's AGM. Nicola said she was "very excited" with her new role and keen to get involved with the Executive. Sue Haigh, pictured below enjopying herself at the 2010 Empty Homes Network Conference, was previously Empty Homes Partnership Manager at the City Council where she was responsible both for Exeter and its partners in a cross-boundary empty homes initiative. Sue will be a hard act to follow, having served on the Executive for several years and uncomplainingly taken on the challenging role Treasurer. She'll be travelling to see family in Australia and enjoying a trip to South America into the bargain. We wish her the very best with that and with all that may follow.
