October 16, 2017
North East Derbyshire District Council are celebrating Empty Homes week by holding an event for owners of empty properties across the District. The event has been jointly organised between the Council and Action Housing - who are a Social Housing provider - and has been designed to promote their 'Sustainable Tenancy Project' which aims to provide housing for young people aged 18-24 who have support needs. Owners will be treated to a variety of presentations about how Action Housing can help them to bring their property back into use and also changes in Homelessness legislation and how this will affect Landlords. The event is being held on Tuesday 17 October from 17:30 - 19:00 at North East Derbyshire District Council's Offices in Wingerworth.
