Finders International are hosting a dedicated training day for Empty Homes Officers and professionals working with empty properties across Birmingham and the surrounding regions. This free, in-person event aims to provide attendees with practical knowledge, expert insights, and an opportunity to connect with others tackling the issue of long-term vacant housing.
The day will be led by Adam Cliff, Secretary and Policy Lead of the Empty Homes Network, who brings over 15 years of frontline experience to the session. Adam will cover a range of core topics essential to managing empty properties more effectively, from exploring the definitions of empty homes, through to how officers and authorities can broaden their perceptions to make robust arguments for additional resources.
With sessions tailored to the real-world challenges faced by local authorities, attendees will leave with actionable strategies and a clearer understanding of how to manage empty homes in their area more efficiently.
