Latest news
November 30, 2025

The Empty Homes Network is delighted to announce that bookings are now being taken for our 2026 National Conference, returning on Wednesday 20 May 2026 at The Studio, Birmingham.

After the strong turnout and positive feedback from our 2025 event, the 2026 Conference promises to deliver another full day of inspiration, insight and practical action for everyone engaged in tackling empty homes, including empty-homes officers, housing professionals, local authorities, and sector partners from across the UK.

What to Expect

Our 2026 Conference will once again feature:

  • A full programme exploring best practices, policy developments, and innovative approaches to bringing empty properties back into productive use.

  • The return of the annual EHN Awards, celebrating outstanding achievements by councils, officers and organisations working to reduce long-term empty homes.

  • Ample opportunity for networking, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration across different regions and tiers of local government.

  • A hot buffet-style two course lunch, with snacks and refreshments available throughout the day

Detailed information on sessions and speakers will be announced early in the new year, and we encourage all interested delegates to book early to secure their place after last year’s event sold out.

Booking & Cost

  • Prices remain the same as 2024 and 2025. Delegates will again have the option to include their 2026/27 EHN Membership as part of the booking process.

  • As before, we offer tiered rates to reflect different types of organisations (e.g. not-for-profit, corporate, local authority). (On previous years, rates started from £95 for not-for-profit organisations, with a corporate delegate rate of £150 and discounted rates for additional delegates from the same organisation.)

To book your place, simply complete the below conference booking form and email it to [email protected].

We are pleased to confirm that Fraser & Fraser will again be supporting the 2026 Conference as headline sponsor, helping us keep delegate rates affordable and enabling us to deliver a high-quality, sector-leading event.

We look forward to welcoming you to Birmingham in May 2026, a day of learning, collaboration and commitment to putting empty homes back into use for those who need them most.

Please stay tuned to our website and member bulletins for upcoming detail on the programme, speakers and award nomination submissions.
