Empty Homes Network frees up Information Library

Latest news
February 7, 2011

The Empty Homes Network has now made most of its Information Library free to guests. That means you will no longer need to log in to access the content. This is part of our move to integrate our materials with those that will be provided as part of the HCA Empty Homes Toolkit, which is currently under development. Not all documents will be freely accessible: those produced by the Network itself at our own expense (eg our Briefing papers, Local News Summaries and Practitioner Guides) will continue to require some form of paying membership. What we hope to do is get sponsorship for those materials so that we can make everything free. That's certainly where we'd like to be but until we get financial support we have to be mindful about our need to generate income. There'll be further improvements in our service and range of options for accessing information shortly.
