David works as CEO for Habitat for Humanity GB Homes in the UK. He is an experienced chartered architect with close to 25 years design and project management experience in private, commercial and voluntary sectors.

Adam has led the Empty Homes Network as their Secretary and Policy Lead since 2019. With over 14 years of experience and still working as an empty homes officer, Adam is a leading voice in the field of empty homes, whose recent work has involved working directly with local authorities on an advisory basis.

In this webinar, David from Habitat for Humanity Great Britain (HFHGB) will share their 'Empty Spaces to Homes' approach with the wider Empty Homes Network (EHN). Both David and Adam will provide insight gained from joint research carried out with the EHN in 2021. This data, collated and analysed from councils, to extrapolate how many council-owned 'commercial' buildings, currently redundant, could be repurposed as affordable homes.
